How do you even live in Israel without imploding due to cringe? Every part of this country is embarrassing.
It's a settler-nerd country. Closest related example is Utah (or the Puritans.) They're entirely composed of cringe and only the cold hand of capital kept them from being driven out with a wedgie.

Could he have been attempting suicide? His propaganda has probably told him something like a lone IDF soldier in Gaza would be bombed and sniped, even if unarmed, maybe he saw that it wasn't that way and changed his mind
Gonna be honest, an Israeli heading into Gaza alone to try to fight IDF alone probably isn't in a great mental state to begin with, and was probably struggling with himself a lot before he even stepped foot in.
That said, it's wild how a Hamas command centre appeared under his feet just moments before the drone struck.
