I’d be upset with whomever is attempting to indoctrinate them, but I would also provide access to religious texts so it doesn’t seem like you’re trying to hide things/shied/protect them. An objective study of religious texts exposes the hypocrisy and disgusting practices & “teachings” offered within.
If they want to go to church, go with them and point out the cult behavior in the moment.
