What is this guy expecting? That Russia's gonna blaze through the European Plain and then cross the channel? That Russia's gonna send its navy over Norway and surround Northern Ireland to make sure we stay in the Star Trek timeline?
Never said the ground war was going to be in Britain.
This has strong hints of "have to defend our freedoms by going and fighting a ground war in eastern europe"

I hear "Russia is going to take Northern Europe" and my mind gets kinda lost in an elaborate fantasy where the Soviets got further south than Finnmark, and I start to feel a little funny tbh

We're really going to blow each other to bits while the world melts instead of doing something the least bit constructive, aren't we? 
When everyone in power thinks the solution is to kill as many poor people as possible as quickly as possible, it starts looking like a great time to also steal some land and resources while doing so
How are we still doing this fear mongering? Russia never seemed particularly interested in a broader war, and given how the Ukraine war went down probably wouldn't want a war with NATO countries. Even with resourcing issues in NATO it would be a pyrrhic victory at best.
I'd say proxy wars with Russia are likely, but those never stopped, Russia had maintained a sphere of influence and indirectly fought western backed forces throughout 90s and 00s, so pretending that is some new threat is just dumb. Also, UK citizen armies isn't what would fight those anyway
