New Month, new Banner Picture. As I previously said, I would like to have every month a different banner picture, showing beautiful places across Europe. It's always great to brighten your horizon.

The Rules

  • Picture must be made on the European continent
  • Only real pictures, no AI generated ones
  • You must have took the picture and have all rights to it, or it has a Licence where usage is possible (e.g. Creative Commons), please indicate it accordingly.
  • No personal identifiable data in the picture. Please blur any licence plates or faces (except when it’s a mass gathering of people e.g. a Christmas market, and the picture shows the christmas market and not singles out a single person)
  • Please provide a short description where the image was taken and what it shows
  • Deadline will be the 31.01.24 23:59

Probably not so suitable for this season, but here is a photo I took at the shores of Stara Baőka⁩ in Croatia last year.

Swiss Alps above Adelboden. Was really cold, but took my Wifes' nephew from the US sledding, and it was tremendous fun, glad I wore a helmet as the "intermediate" run was actually proper challenging, and I went of the sled, head first, into a massive snow drift and slid down the mountain a good 20 meters.
