Victims of a war, they did not choose. At the very least we can make them feel welcome and hopefully send them more weapons.
If we gave Ukraine the appropriate weapons to defend themselves against the Kremlin terrorists' barbaric land grab, there wouldn't even be refugees.
Why will they need weapons after they emigrate to Canada? Ward off angry geese?
They will learn to respect our angry overlords and fear them as we do. #thisIsTheWay
They are completely welcome, but someone should let them know that we have no housing.

This is a good reason to bring people to Canada, as opposed to using them to goose property values and suppress wages.
Let's have 'em. I only know a few Ukrainian people but they have a work ethic that embarrasses my comparatively lazy self. We need more of their awesome kind here ... and why do they all seem to move to WhiteCourt AB? Something I don't know?
