It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Hating on Nickelback unprompted is a tired meme like hating Comic Sans ("See? I hate the thing everyone hates! I'm with it!"), but to say their music is "deeply affecting" is just lol. I assume this is contrarian purely for the sake of generating clicks (like half of the shit I see on YouTube).

When I did debate, I put all my cases and evidence in comic sans because of how readable it was. People hated the comic sans, but could never tell me why.

It's got 'comic' in the name, that means it's not serious enough for us to use

I remember reading that the singer of Nickelback was a slumlord before they got big so I choose to hate them for better reasons than their bland music.

Yup this is just the most contrarian take.

"Nickleback actually wasn't that bad" has been the hot take for a little bit now so gotta get back out there and go against the grain again and be the first one with the post-post-post- ironic take

Georgia Florida Line were produced by the same guy who produced all of Nickelback's biggest work, so they all objectively suck. On one hand, I genuinely like most Nickelback people. The people who still like Nickelback usually don't care what other people think, they're typically more honest than other people I meet. Regardless of their beliefs, there's an honesty there that other people don't have,

However the one nickelback contrarian I met was the most unbearable person I ever met. Dude got suspended for a quarter the year in school for selling weed. Normally I'd hate this, but holy shit his weed selling tactics were so unbearable that I was glad when I found out the school discovered his completely scent unconcealed weed.

deeply affecting music

How You Remind Me of Someday - YouTube

It's a mashup of two of their songs which sound almost exactly the same.

  • How You Remind Me

  • Someday
