So can flying squid. Because if we get in trouble for it in the ocean, we can just fly away, motherfuckers.

And even for him it's against the laws of physics but he does it anyway for he doesn't give a shit about laws

[–] kewwwi@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

there's no elephant police

[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That's impossible! How is their society supposed to function without a police?

[–] supercriticalcheese@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Elephant society says otherwise

[–] lugal@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 years ago

I hope they don't participate in mutual aid or other anarchist terrorism because that could tear down the state!

[–] CarbonIceDragon@pawb.social 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

what if the ones you've gotten in trouble with are flying fish?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

We're in cahoots.

[–] FlihpFlorp@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What if I put wings on something like a frog or amphibious creature of your choice

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Good luck with that, I suppose.

[–] Macaroni_ninja@lemmy.world 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Also they could hide on a cherry tree or something

[–] KreekyBonez@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

well, I've never seen an elephant in a cherry tree...

[–] supercriticalcheese@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago

Cause they are hidden good

[–] CluckN@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

That’s like the elephant that learned it can block traffic and steal sugar cane out of the truck.

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !quickanimalfacts@lemm.ee

[–] hanke@feddit.nu 2 points 2 years ago

Nice! Looking forward to see some facts!

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 6 points 2 years ago (2 children)

I'd like to see them play Mario Kart.

[–] kewwwi@lemmy.world 9 points 2 years ago

they clearly don't want to

[–] covert_czar@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 years ago

There's an elephant addon in supertux kart

[–] nieceandtows@programming.dev 5 points 2 years ago

They just never want to jump

[–] KpntAutismus@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago (2 children)

until they get eaten by lions.

that really happens.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago

Mostly just the sick ones and the babies. Lions generally don't go after prey that large. They generally avoid giraffes too. They have to be pretty desperate to go after an elephant because they can't kill it like most of their prey by either suffocation or breaking their neck.

they clearly want to
