At a friend's place and someone's got Murder by Death on the telly and it's so awful (maybe even by 1970s standards)...
I came across this article which I thought ok interesting. I have visited all these towns and didn't find any of them 'quirky'.

I pulled out about 5 gigantic aganthus plants over the last few weeks and now I want to raize the ground so it never grows back. Of course I can't do that, so any alternative suggestions? I plan on evening out the ground it was on (possibly with a retaining wall) and grassing it for a play area for my little one but in the team time I want to make sure it doesn't start growing back.
Does weed killer or whatever work on that stuff?
I've never had any trouble getting rid of agapanthus. Just dig it up , if you get the crown it's gone.
I'm such a child because when I hear this I always laugh. The man just played it.
