Paragons of Virtue Arrested

It's time to name and shame the self-proclaimed paragons of virtue. Keep it civil, though.

Stories are about those who have been placed in positions of trust, and then abused that trust.

Feel free to add stories of the self-righteous from other walks of life.

New rule: With regard to stories of particularly, but not only, female teachers sexually assaulting students. Any comments similar to "where were they when I was in school" will earn you the right to find another forum.

A night manager at a Hilton Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., was arrested on Friday after he entered a sleeping guest’s room to suck on the customer’s toes, according to local police.

The Nashville Police Department charged David Neal, 52, with aggravated burglary and assault in connection with the March 30 incident.

Jesus H Christ... When I read something like this all I can do is wonder what did he expect to happen when he broke into the guys room and started sucking on his toes? Did he think the guy would sleep through it? Did he think the guy would wake up and be into it? How does anyone rationalize doing this?

Because sickeningly as it is, he's probably done this before and gotten away with it. This is probably some kind of fetish the guy probably has not even tried to reign in and express in as healthy a manner as possible (i.e., hire a sex worker).

He just gives into his base impulses cuz to do otherwise is either unfathomable or too uncomfortable for him to resist.

I hope it's obvious I'm not trying to make excuses nor condone his actions. The guy strikes me as a creep, but this is my best attempt at rationalizing the behavior.

I found this article that says he already had a lengthy criminal history including voluntary manslaughter even before he started working for the hotel. Apparently impulse control has never been this guy's strong point. He sounds like a real scumbag

I would 100% sleep through it.

Eh, wouldn't be the worst service I've had in a Hilton

I'm sure no one could have seen this coming. Absolutely positive that there isn't a record with HR for inappropriate behavior. Yep. Just a normal guy up until the moment he broke into someone's room to suck their toes. Hilton could not have possibly had any indication he would do such a thing.

Are hotel night managers considered paragons of virtue though?

[–] Deceptichum@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago

They’re the bedrock of society.

That's quite a turn down service.

Except it was the manager who got turned down.

I wonder if he has gotten away with it before?
