It feels like the rapid fall in cost and deployment of renewables is what will pull us back from the brink. Though who knows what temp rises will stop at before eventually receding? 2.5C, 3C?

I have this intuition that as the move into renewable energies and related technologies picks up pace, we are going to see some new developments into mitigating and pulling back the heating of the planet.
