If a job says "10 years experience, or six with a bachelor's or 4 with a masters" do they have a requirement?

Most job postings I see, it's interchangeable with years experience but more than likely they will have ten applicants who have degrees so they won't even read the applicants who don't (unless there's a very compelling reason to do so like they already work for a competitor, or have a ton of years experience)

I completely understand an employer who wants to include skills assessment type tests but giving "personality" tests is just another method of discrimination. This article skirts the details on exactly what types of jobs are having education requirements removed but I am highly suspicious that it is mainly for entry level service sector jobs where higher education is a "nice to have" but not a "must have."

Not OP's fault but the title, and many parts of the article are missing:

"...For Some Positions"

Proving that most jobs didn't need a bachelor's to begin with.

But I have a bachelor's... degree...
