genetic testing is just elevated phrenology anyway, all it actually tells you is what groups/modern people are related to a particular corpse, or group of corpses. it can help identify some movements of people but provides zero insight into the culture or language or social status of the people. there is no white people gene, we don't actually know how mummies looked or skulls looked in life.

my best guess on this is that they're substituting "aryan" for turanian to avoid the nazi-coding. Turan is an iranian term for east-of-iran based on a legendary figure. as indo-iranian(aryan) split into iranian and indo-aryan in the general area of Turan i suppose the nazis probably think there was a central-asian atlantis of white people over there or something

I recognize some from Robert E. Howard's Conan stories. He drew inspiration for the fictional setting from the popular pseudo-history of the antediluvian world (before the biblical flood) which included ideas about Atlantis with helping of race science.

i actually heard a similar thing about Japan from one of my college anthropology professors, they (sourcelessly) implied that japan refused to test because they didn't want people to know the royal family was actually Korean or something. I could see the Chinese government wanting to just completely avoid any kind of stupid historical culture shock that could come from similar testing.
It's not really a secret that most early Japanese culture was just shamelessly copying China until they eventually developed their own thing. Wouldn't be surprising if the nobility had Chinese or Korean blood in there.

It actually went back and forth sometimes. There are a bunch of loan words from Japanese in modern Chinese too, especially if they relate to science or economics. Like the Mandarin term for "capitalism" is 资本主义 (zīběnzhǔyì) and I'm pretty sure it's a loan word from Japanese, 資本主義 (shihonshugi). Languages are cool.
Same for “communism” (共产主义) .
The worst part was the word for “science”, Chen Duxiu wanted to call it 赛因斯学 (sai-yin-si xue), but overseas Chinese students from Japan brought back 科学 (ke xue) which makes more sense lol.

You can actually see how the mummy's skull is not only completely out-of-bounds of the phenotypical variance of ANY european, but is completely different from the recreation of the face on the right. The recreation looks like fucking Mark Zuckerberg's sister.
Their recreations regularly suck because 1) whites have bad spatiovisual intelligence (this is a fact because I said so) and 2) because they maliciously fake their recreations to prove some sort of point/agenda
If you can't see it, just look at the mummy's absolutely massive cheekbones. Something which can basically only be seen on East Asians and maybe some admixed populations in central Siberia (Tatars, etc). Honestly it's probably only still around on Mongols now.
The reason for this is because the mummy itself was basically 30% East Asian and 70% something-that-contributed-to Europeans (not Europeans themselves). Calling this thing European would be exactly analogous to calling Germans Mexican because Mexicans have partially European DNA
