Nice work. I really like the sky backdrop, good color choice and blending with the clouds/horizon. It looks hazy and gives off a sweltering feel.

Yes, it’s just painted on a plasticard sheet. I made it for the diorama, but it’s been reused many times for other minis I photograph.
