The harm of neoliberal capitalism. Compared to what, Keynesian capitalism?

I guess it’s hard to secure grant money for comparing capitalism brains to socialism brains.

You would not believe how fucked academia is at the moment. Everything is so privatised now that everyone is too chicken to say ANYTHING mildly bad about capitalism in fear of being pushed out of their job/funding etc.

No kidding, you get outright hardcore blacklisted for the most mild critique, ends up hurting research in the end since material analysis is a great tool for experimental design and condition heurestics. Good way to fall behind the rest of the world due to ego and greed but not even realize it.
