There is no refrigeration so most of it'll go bad. Meanwhile, plants last longer and you can replant the seeds and live long provided you find a source of fresh water.

Carnivore diet clowns will die of salmonella.

actually I think you're supposed to take the chicken out of the right boat, then take it across, then back, then the goat... wait i need to rethink this

[–] keepcarrot@hexbear.net 38 points 2 years ago (1 children)

There's even a live chicken in the right one what the hell?

Which is great. The chicken can clean you of parasites and make you eggs. That bit of extra fat could give you the energy to build a garden out of those veggies.

[–] keepcarrot@hexbear.net 5 points 2 years ago

Yeah, chicken is a good commune animal

  • Food that will spoil in the sun within hours

  • Food you can used to grow more food by recycling the seeds and stems

Hmmm...

grill-broke i could catch fish with the meat

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 16 points 2 years ago

Maybe if you could catch salt with the meat.

I'd argue patron saint of "humans are obligate carnivores", liver king, sets a pretty good precedent that these people would rather die than eat a vegetable (not dying is gay)

Stohenl, my favorite.

for all the ai art defenders talking about how awesome it is they do seem to be pretty inept at wrangling it into appropriate imagery for what they're trying too say

Can we take a moment to appreciate just how big those carrots and that cabbage are?

None of those cuts are recognizable and the jerry can(?) in the veggie boat is wide as fuck

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 14 points 2 years ago

lil chicken

[–] material_delinquent@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I suppose the scenario is wilderness survival. In that case, let's see these guys lit a fire without flint and prevent spoilage in a hot humid climate. Hope they like internal parasites and diarrhea and fighting off random dogs and carrion critters

[–] M68040@hexbear.net 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The fact that the veggie boat comes with a (unusually wide due to neural net jank) Jerry Can shouldn't be underestimated in a survival scenario, either

[–] material_delinquent@hexbear.net 1 points 2 years ago

true, my eyes confused it for an ugly trash can for a moment

[–] ReadFanon@hexbear.net 13 points 2 years ago

Mmmmm, delicious meae🐍

[–] odmroz@hexbear.net 10 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Meat boat has higher caloric density, and will last ok if you jerkify it. BUT chickens lay eggs. And ur right about the seeds. :/ I tell you to look over yonder and try to hastily barge-pole away, one foot on each boat.

[–] odmroz@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago

On the horizon, you see me comically sink into the splits, before capsizing both boats. Like Icarus, I had flown too high.

[–] CrimsonSage@hexbear.net 10 points 2 years ago

Yeah, I'll take the scurvy with a side of constipation and meat sweats.

[–] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Wouldn’t the right boat be the most logical since theoretically, the chicken produces an infinite number of eggs until you’re able to reach civilization?

[–] WithoutFurtherBelay@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Thats… not how chickens work

[–] crispy_lol@hexbear.net 5 points 2 years ago

Looks like a rooster too

[–] crispy_lol@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Sell the AI generated meat to a pig for 30 years of wages and you can retire early and go visit tropical islands all the time.

[–] EatPotatoes@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Meat taste like shit too without some sort of fat, breading or condiment.

[–] autismdragon@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Y'all never heard of seasonings and marinades?

[–] abc@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago

I take the right boat - dump half that shit off the side (can you even regrow cabbage or broccoli just by sticking them in the ground??) so me and the chicken have some room with our potato bounty. I cut all the potatoes in half and bury those halves in the ground for future potatoes. I make a chicken enclosure out of the carrots.
