I'm sorry, but I like the "Catholic lore" oozing from this series (even though I don't like Catholicism, oddly enough).

I guess it was the baptism that did it, but I remember not liking the whole process and being opposed to it (yes, even at that age)...

Spanish Holy Week (and Spanish Catholicism in general) is its own kind of bonkers. The fact that Blasphemous is so Spanish in its design though is what really sets it apart. It's my favorite thing about these small game studios based somewhere with its own history and culture. You get designs and aesthetics that you would never see in most games.
