This is nice and all, but couldn't they instead make an arbitrary UI change to the camera app again? I'm almost to the point where I'm using that app with muscle memory again.

Yeah, wtf were they thinking when they reversed the sides of the screen the photo gallery and front/back camera switch were on. It's been the same since my Pixel 1. Why?!

animations are so pleasant. if you don't like them turn them off in dev mode, don't kill it for the rest of us
Thank you for the article. Once they mentioned that it was posted by the weather app I was able to disable the weather app and finally turn off this stupid bull shit.
I cannot think of any reason why a CLOCK app would have non CLOCK features and not have a god damn settings option to disable the WEATHER in my CLOCK app
You need to be glad that they haven't killed the clock in favor of the calendar yet.
I hate the UI for alarms. It looks really disgusting...
I mean, what the actual hell? It had a nice, simple slide UI... Why Google?
