How do so many watch that show and instead of coming out with "I used to love this character but he develops into a genocidal maniac who brutally kills 80% of all humanity so I no longer love him" and instead think "he was right"
It’s because they gave him ethical plot armor by saying out of all possible outcomes in the multiverse the one where 80% of all humans die is the best one.
No offense to any fans of the show but damn if I'm not glad AoT never roped me in.
Same, never got the appeal. The fights aren't great, the mysteries aren't interesting, the art style is ugly.
I actually like the art style, so I was happy to see the same studio apply it for Vinland Saga.
