Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.

For me it's Vinland Season 2 and Frieren for storytelling. Jujutsu kaisen 2 and The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 for raw fun.

Bocchi the Rock! Close second goes to Digimon: Ghost Game.

I still liked the Fate/Strange fake preview movie despite being reactionary great man worship designed to sell gacha to children

I like when Bleach makes big swords go fwoosh

G-witch was equal parts disappointing and endearing

Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero had some good gags and was overall comfy, but definitely had excessively horny libertarian energy. Biggest surprise was its tepidly positive portrayal of a fantasy DPRK analog with a magic CIA trying to manufacture consent for war against it.

Berserk of Gluttony is the most braindead edgy wish fulfillment dark fantasy that I would've loved in jr high. Top tier "background noise while folding laundry" entertainment.

New anime looks so bad i cant be bothered most of the time. I wish the culture would go back to science fiction, being hand drawn and having interesting stories.

I have been watching Dead Mount Death Play and really enjoying it. I worry I'm going to go around singing it's praises and then find out other people don't like it, but it's been one of my favorites this year.

A bit twisty, a bit comedy, a bit drama, a bit detective show, a bit isekai. It's blending a lot of themes and I think doing it very well.
