From what I'm getting...

The shooter from the University of Prague is named ***** ******. Preliminarily, he shot ten people and injured 20 others. Afterwards, he took his own life.

***** opened fire on the fourth floor of the building of the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University. In an attempt to escape the gunfire, some students climbed out of windows and sat on the ledge – one of the girls couldn't hold on and fell. She became the fourth victim of the attack.

According to preliminary information, when dozens of police cars arrived at the scene, ***** shot himself.

Maybe remove the name of the gunman from your post. It is definately informative what you posted, but no need to give people like him any notoriety. His name is best forgotten.

Well the papers will have their field day and we'll hear about this for the next few weeks including the very unimportant need to find out "why" he did these things. I can promise you, there is no "why" that would ever make it make sense in any way. Yet he'll ultimately be forgotten when the next bloody massacre happens soon.

The general consensus in the media is to not name or talk much about the shooter. It gives other troubled kids the opportunity to see them as a role model.

Please tell this to American media

Yep and stop giving them 24/7 coverage for months. Tons of studies show that copycats are a thing

[–] LastYearsPumpkin@feddit.ch 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Can't anymore, there are too many to give that much coverage.

Wonderful. What a piece of work is man, the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals. How noble in reason! In action how like an angel! In apprehension, how like a god!! just another fun holiday murder spree. Fun, fun and no one has any right to be unhappy about it. Happy holidays to the families of the corpses.

It looks like he actually found the inspiration in russia:

he added that he was inspired by Alina Afanaskina. However, according to him, she did not kill enough people, which he intended to rectify.
