“As I began to travel around Canada, I was surprised to learn the pervasiveness of the loss of trust, on Canada’s part, of the United States,” Cohen told business leaders last month in the national capital.

“The constant refrain was, ‘What has happened to our relationship with the United States? Have we done something wrong?'”

I found this passage too irritating to let pass without comment. There is not a single Canadian who wonders whether the strain on our relationship was something that we had done. We know exactly what the problem was, and it was very much something you all had done you condescending prick.

The problem starts with T and rhymes with 'grump' and even those who blindly and fanatically support this character in Canada would know the profound effect on U.S. Canada relations he had.

Cmon, don't say "you all" when it was only 1/3 of the population that voted for him

Read "you all" as the political entity the ambassador represents. I'm sure you as an individual didn't slap a steel tariff on Canada that cost a couple of my friends their job.

And I would never!
