I 100%'d it recently on emulator and thoroughly enjoyed it! The secret levels offer ample challenge for the masochists among us, but it's such a lovely game that even the easy levels are fun to play.
With the flowers, changing the voice language to a language other than your native one helps a lot. I almost immediately changed them to Japanese, but Italian and Russian are fun ones, too! Plus, it's bonus listening practice if you choose a language you're learning. You can also completely turn off the voice; personally I liked having it on since there are some fun moments with them, but I can see how it could be grating for others.
