Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

All jokes about the wet boy aside, the dude is a fascist. But he's an incompetent one, and the election is going to come down to an incompetent fascist versus a bloodless neoliberal.

In material terms, the American state is a tidal wave of shit whether the president is deftly surfing it or drowning

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Wait which is which in the current election

[–] Thordros@hexbear.net 16 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Both. Quantum superfascism. The outcome changes if you try to measure it.

Ok, unrelated, but how do I beat Jevil in Chapter 1? Is there a trick? Do I just need to Get Good?

I'm really afraid that I might actually be getting too old for some types of games.

I'm not a young guy and I beat him over the weekend for the first time. It definitely took some practice.

spoilerIf you're on PC and have an Nvidia GPU, you can open the Nvidia control panel, select Deltarune, and set the max FPS to 20. Restart the game. The game logic is tied to the FPS so it plays at 2/3 speed. Soundtrack isn't so it'll still sounds normal.

Dunno, I don't even know what game this comes from

I can hardly believe he knows this level of deep cut Hitler references, he's probably getting them from his groyper staffers/employees. Although the Lenín refernces were pretty out of pocket too to be fair. He just seems so profoundly ignorant to know these kind of things.

why bother educating yourself on anything when being a dumbass has worked so well so far?

There was a (recently resurfaced) story from his first wife which made the rounds some time back about him keeping a book of Hitler's speeches next to his nightstand

Maybe he can actually handle a book with a font smaller then 30

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

How big do you think the font is on his phone apps?

[–] SacredExcrement@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago

I like to imagine he has a Jitterbug

Trump received significant criticism after the original poison the blood statement in October. For him to repeat the line means he knows the significance of those words and is intentionally evoking Hitler.

Or:

People clapped when he said the thing, so he kept saying it and they kept clapping, you love to hear it folks. Many Americans are saying it.

I maintain that he's fascist Inspector Gadget. Just bumbling from blood to soil to securing a future for our (????) children. While some child with a pocket computer does everything important.

Right, whether or not he knows it's a quote from Hitler is debatable, but I'd wager if he knows he doesn't really care and he only says it because he thinks it makes him look tough. More importantly it gets people talking about him, which is his whole reason for existing.

[–] mathemachristian@hexbear.net 21 points 2 years ago (2 children)

I wonder why the news have started reporting about Trump again? Its not like this kind of shit just now started again.

[–] SacredExcrement@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

LMAO that headline

Biden wants to lose CMV

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago

I'm not as convinced as some that Biden has this because the Republican establishment has effectively closed out Trump. The Republican party is a cockroach and it always seemingly gets revived by people considered extreme at the time.

[–] the_kid@hexbear.net 10 points 2 years ago

have people been saying Biden's going to win? I think he's done for

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

Didn't one of his ex-wives talk about how he had Mein Kampf in his bedside table and would read it often?
