Demon Slayer: Mugen Train put an end to that era- they made anime movies non-canon because studios (rightly) assumed movie goers wouldn’t necessarily be as familiar with the source material, but the internet and the “Marvelization” of media has put paid to that idea.
mha and one piece are the last holdouts
plus stuff like detective conan and other long running shows that predate demon train, but you know
anyways, i don't hate that this as a thing for chainsaw man specifically, but it's nice when a movie is just an excuse to hang out with some characters and see a cool fight that didn't exist before
Arlong Park becoming a feature length movie in ‘The One Piece’ 
god, the one piece reboot sucks so much just on a conceptual level. make new thigns!! there's already so much one piece, we don't need more!

Can’t wait till my entire recommended list is nothing but One Piece and/or it’s spin-offs
i have been getting more and more frustrated with the manga, which imo just isn't fun to read anymore, and they keep making more one piece which doesn't make me less annoyed
