As an academic, I must say that this may be "silent", but very important breakthrough. Or rather a consequence of a realy quiet breakthroughs made earlier

This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This is huge news, and I expect that this will continue developing in nonlinear fashion because benefits are cumulative. Each expert can train many other experts and this creates a positive feedback loop.
Yes, benefits are cumulative and create a positive feedback loop, since knowledge is a kind of capital and capital is one of the most powerful things in the world. That's why the capital can be so dangerous when accumulated by a very few people

Almost like perpetuating a system of privilege and patronage based on social position doesn't lead to the best outcomes. Crazy, I know.
I studied in both the US and China and the Chinese university system isn't the best. That’s great that they have had many research developments but I don’t think they will surpass Western scholarship unfortunately.
I will add my guangzhou friend thought British schools were horrible too so there’s that.
Guangzhou has not the best universities - the best are in Beijing, also Zhejiang University is quite well.
Read my comment.
OK, I did. So where in China you studied?
