Turns out, my mom loves video essays. after i told her what they were she asked me to send her some of my favorites. what video/s would i be able to send her without her just doing the classic lib "i am seeing an opinion that had been deemed taboo by society, i am now shutting down and leaving the room?"

I recommend sending her two or three, with only one of them being blatantly political. If you barrage her with exclusively political content, the liberal reflexes will kick in, but if you send one about ant colonies, one about planned economies, and one about the history of a city, it'll come across more as three pieces of scientific and historical record.

true! i've sent her some explicitly political ones with topics she agrees with, namely philosophy tube's abortion video, and another one that was less political (big joel's dr phil video). I will probably send some more non-political/ones she already agrees with and then sneak in a second thought or knowing better.

If she likes the more boring, relatively dry essays she might be convinced by Our Changing Climate. If she's ok with more meme/humor sorta videos then I'd recommend Climate Town. And chances are, if she cares about the climate at all this is a big point of radicalization.
