"In Florida, merit matters."

LMAO

We have so many problems in this state and this is what they choose to investigate? Ridiculous. FSU went undefeated but their SoS was very poor, truth is they didn’t deserve to be in the playoff.

I mean... what were they supposed to do, challenge Bama to a duel in the middle of the season? The games are scheduled years in advance, it's not like they had any way of knowing that literal perfection in a Power 5 conference still wouldn't be enough. If SoS outweighs on-field results to that much of a degree, the NCAA might as well just introduce promotion and relegation.

For the record, I do think it's rather silly for a state attorney general to launch an entire investigation over a college sports postseason snub. FSU got screwed IMO, but it's not a criminal matter.

They should just go and blow out Georgia and challenge the winner of the CFP.

Probably won't be hard to blow out Georgia. They were expecting to be in the CFP and lost their last game. Often when that happens, a lot of upperclassmen decide to sit out and take their chances with the NFL draft.
