Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

another vid about plagiarism

Are all the breadtubers in a discord together?

They probably talk to each other before they release major videos, wouldn't be surprised if they asked each other for feedback on videos and such

It'd make sense. It's not a large group, and professionals will network with each other.

they all do a bunch of quote reading for each other

This video isn't even really about plagiarism. That's the jumping off point but it's mostly about social reproduction, the family as an economic construct, and how fascism appeals to women

Kind of not looking for another movie-length video on the same topic. I'll watch Breakfast at Tiffany's instead. Will probably bookmark this one and watch it later.

A really good essay imo, Abigail continues to not miss.

One thing I wonder about is how something like Cuba's new family law would play into some of these issues. If your chosen family can be your legal family, maybe that actually helps mitigate some of the exploitation of it. I'm sure there's Cuban scholars who have already written things about that I am just woefully ignorant of, but it just seemed to click together nicely for me

I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

I completely understand that she's pretty tongue in cheek a lot of the time, but her delivery is so sincere that I always end up cringing at her content nowadays

fun seeing her do a dragking bit at least, I think I miss her old voice

examine your internalized transphobia before it examines you, or something

i miss the old format. contrapoints ran that masturbatory theater kid shit into the ground years ago.
