First the hack, now this? I don't buy that it's just random malfeasance. I bet Spez is trying to make Lemmy look unstable to keep people off of it.

I think it’s exploding heads. I don’t think spez thinks it’s actually competition. Exploding heads is a bunch of bigots who are mad that more and more instances defederated them when world did. My big argument about it is that the hack deleted the defederation list

I don't think it's spez. Transparent and decentralized social networks go against the interests of many people.
So either spez or his corporate shithead buddies.
And/or US gov and their allies. Centralization makes surveillance and manipulation easy.
