If anything, the world from GTA is more grotesque, ugly and crude than what we see in real life. It's been that way since at least GTA 3. It's an exaggerated caricature of American culture.

Literally the point of GTA is that it is a realistic crime simulator. Go play the heckin Witcherino if you want fantasy.
Why do conservatives project their media illiteracy and life insecurities onto every player? Not everyone plays to “escape” anything. And even a child who plays Mario can understand that the dinosaur riding a go kart is not reflective of real life no matter how many woke princesses beat them to the finish line.
