I believe it does, although I don't have one to test how well. I started a post yesterday in the Baldurs Gate 3 community to see if anyone had personally tried it. (I can't figure out how to link to it yet.)
The posts in protondb look very positive!
i haven't tried baldurs gate but divinity original sin 2 runs great and it's the same dev so i'd assume baldurs will work just fine
