Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

I figure Trump's response would have been letting Russia take part of Eastern Ukraine. It would be the exact same result, but without depopulating the country and rendering it uninhabitable. We wouldn't have handed billions of dollars and advanced weapons to Nazis. Liberals wouldn't be cheering on those genocides like they're superhero films. It would objectively be the harm reduction option.

He signed off on killing Soleimani, if the alphabet boys spun a similar yarn he probably would have also agreed to blow up the pipeline except he’d brag about it which would be hilarious.

For the price of a bomb we got Europe’s LNG market, I make the best deals folks. We have them over a barrel, bye bye German industry, byeeeee

Even then it's harm reduction if he's just honest about committing eco-terrorism against Europe with the largest-ever release of methane. The best thing that could happen to Europe is casting off the US and reorienting with China.

Agreed, his FP is generally better from the lens of harming empire with some notable exceptions.

this massively overestimates the importance of trump/the presidency in general. there were 2T/year in afghanistan funbux that needed a home after the pullout there. that's a fucking tsunami of capital and associated interests versus someone who clearly would rather just own people in the shitposting wars. don't fall into great man theory liberalism

I’m no Trump fan, but it’s much more likely that Trump would’ve sought a diplomatic solution than the Biden administration’s “we must break Russia” approach that’s drawing out the war and causing more deaths.

Naive though it was, Kushner’s “the Middle East is just an elaborate real Estate deal” is objectively less genocidal than Biden’s “Let Bibi do whatever he wants” policy.

On the other hand it got the accords signed whereas bidens policy has halted the normalization of Israel (which is what Israel needs with its neighbors if it ever wants to have long term existence, and is therefore to be avoided).

Biden can have a little genocide, as a treat.

"Hey, one genocide is objectively better than two genocides!" - Libs in 2024

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 15 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I find it interesting that a person can be morally repulsive and go Orange Man Bad on Biden's genocide.

Literally every bad thing that happens in the world is because of Drumpf and Putler.

Have you heard that they engage in homosexual relations with eachother?

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago

One genocide isn't as bad as two genocides so vote for the harm reduction candidate that only does one genocide! flowey-smug
