Considering China is still trading consumer goods with Ukraine (used by both military and civilians), this seems like a good way to strip yourself of supplies even further. But knowing China they’ll just strongly condemn it and keep sending them stuff anyway lol
China might embargo Ukraine for this if they don't have anything to lose from stopping trade with them.

When a Ukrainian missile hit Belarus and killed someone, the Belarusian government said it didn’t have any hard feelings because lethal accidents happen in war. But Ukraine threw a tantrum and said it absolutely did not shoot a missile into Belarus, even though it shot one into Poland just a few days earlier lol.
Then when WaPo published a report saying that a Ukrainian missile hit a Ukrainian market a few weeks back, the government said it was disinformation even though the missile flew from the direction that has no Russian presence

Think this is done as a way to show that Ukraine can still fight the current "evil" powers i.e. China and Russia (ngl tho Russia is shit especially for any minority or part of LGBTQ groups).
