I know what you are thinking:- 1) Stupid Question and 2) Why haven’t I updated in so long.

Well , the last time I updated an apple device, it was dimwittedly slow, kept deleting and corrupting files, and a while after the Startup disk malfunctioned, it was hopeless and it had to be powered with a USB stick.

I don’t want something similar happening to my iPhone.
