WiFi disconnects on screen lock with specific WiFi (alien.top)

Hi all,

So I recently moved to iPhone after 15 years of using Android, loving it so far but I have one small but annoying issue.

When I'm connected to my secondary phone's WiFi hotspot, my iPhone disconnects from it about 15 seconds after I lock the screen, reconnecting about 10 seconds after I unlock.

I don't get this issue when I connect to my home WiFi, but when I connect other devices to the hotspot and turn the screen off, the connection persists.

I don't have any battery optimizations enabled as far as I know, so I'm unsure of what the issue is.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
