CB is the least of my worries. That’s all they drafted. Also Terrell Smith looks promising
Chicago Bears
I would be more worried about the durability- with the entire db group actually- than the ability.
This
Stevenson is being targetted a lot because he is across JJ and he is a rookie. He is having a great rookie season actually since CB is a hard position to learn.
What?!? No he is not. Stevenson is currently one of the worst if not the worst starting CB in the NFL currentlybut he is having a good season? Based on what? Because he had a pick where Brisker tackled the receiver to the ground or because his FF in the same game? Dude has been absolutely horrendous every single game except that Detroit game.
Lmfao
"One of the worst corners in the league by every metric is actually having a good season because uhhh bear down fuck the packers"
Dude this sub is in full on delusion. We’ve always overrated our players, both proven and unproven, but the Stevenson/Gordon stuff is just totally out of hand.
I've been watching him get burned all season. That's okay though because he got a pick recently and Saint Poles drafted him, I guess.
Guessing I'll be the 3rd downvoted "hater"
We have control of JJ. JJ, tyrique, Gordon and smith feels like a rock solid group to me with serious potential
I’m just operating under the assumption he will be a bear.
The 2ndary is getting torched because there is no pressure up front. You won’t need elite/top of the league corners if you fix the d-line and can bring pressure with 4.
This is like a 2025 convo
I like Terrell Smith. He doesn’t have JJ’s coverage skills but he hits like a truck
I want Kool-Aid!
#OH YEAH!
Gordon was amazing last game
We’ve spent like 4 draft picks over the past two years on CB. I think Gordon, Stevenson and Terrell Smith deserve a year or two to see how they develop and then we can reevaluate our corners in 2025/2026 when we’ve hopefully built up the Dline better as that is a bigger need at this point
My only concern about JJ is that he gets a long term contract and his performance dips similar to what happened with Eddie Jackson
What? Gordons been good
In what way
If there's "major upgrades on the DL this offseason" then the secondary will improve by default, especially if kept intact with another year of experience. They're young & promising.
Kyler is ok
