iPhone keyboard is borderline unusable and laggy on latest iOS (alien.top)

I’m not sure if I’m alone here but on the latest iOS on my iPhone 14 PM my keyboard is ridiculously slow. Many times I’ll type, and I continue typing but the keyboard itself just freezes and I have to wait 10+ seconds for it to show the rest of the things I’ve typed. I’ve tried disabling autocorrect, extra keyboards, predictive typing, etc. but no luck. Anyone else?

same, on my 13 mini it lags and stops popping up when trying to do a spotlight search. iOS 17 has been a bad release so far!
