“RemindMe 5 years, repost for easy karma”
Lmao
Sam Darnold is a bust did not age well.
?
The Jets could a picked Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. That's crazy.
This tracks: The first quarterback taken after the Jets pick goes on to be a hall of famer.
Baker Mayfield - Round 1, Pick 1 (1st overall) by the Cleveland Browns
Sam Darnold - Round 1, Pick 3 (3rd overall) by the New York Jets
Josh Allen - Round 1, Pick 7 (7th overall) by the Buffalo Bills
Josh Rosen - Round 1, Pick 10 (10th overall) by the Arizona Cardinals
Lamar Jackson - Round 1, Pick 32 (32nd overall) by the Baltimore Ravens
I thought felt old, seeing us fogeys explain Cortland *Innegan to young fans in a recent post, then I pull up a 5-year-old thread where the young'ns needed Smokin' Jay Cutler's "DON'T CAAARE" explained. 👴
That said, Josh Allen = Jay Cutler is looking spot-on.
"Bradley Chubb will start out pretty good. But won’t become more than an average DE. Harold Landry will become elite but it’ll take him 3 years.
Every CB in the first round will make at least 1 pro bowl in their career
In 5 years none of the top 5 QBs will be out of the league, and four will be starters."
- take aged pretty good, both are good DE
- 2/3 corners have gone to multiple pro bowls (ward, alexander)
- 3 are starters and 4 are in the leauge (Allen, Baker, Lamar starting, Darnold back up in SF)

You did a nice job here getting both the top 10 about right and putting first round talent in the first
That post is a great reminder of why I just don't give a shit about the draft anymore. I check in to see who the Packers got and watch some their highlights, then wait for otas. Too many people think they know more than they do and the draft outcomes are too random to be really compelling.
RemindMe! 5 years "Repost for easy karma"
Most accurate prediction in that thread
Everyone and their mother thought barkley would be a bust lmaewo
My favorite comment was “remind me in 5 years to repost for easy karma”.
Playing the long game OP
Man, nice to see the Vita Vea comment. Predicted he’ll be HOF but will never make the playoffs, and he won us a ring. Nice :)
Josh Allen turning into Jay Cutler seems plausible by now
Browns will screw up either the 1 or the 4. Whichever is not screwed up will be a pro-bowler - which will leave the fanbase exactly where it has been for the last 40 years.
They didn't quite screw up the pick itself, but they did screw up with Mayfield. Ward is a pro-bowler. The browns are still the browns. Not bad!
I had honestly forgotten how bad the Chiefs' 2018 class was. Holy crap. Derrick Nnadi is the only guy left.
The one saying Josh Allen would be like Jay cutler is great. Allen is obviously better then cutler but I could kind of see those two guys being friends and they both loved to throw it downfield sometimes and pray someone was there. Glad Allen was a lot better overall though
"Josh Allen will develop into the next Jay Cutler" absolutely he will yes lmao
The Derrius Guice take was correct for all the wrong reasons.
