Here’s my positives I think of the other teams.

Bears D is getting good and I think Poles has made a bunch of sound moves overall. It’s very very hard to get a stud EDGE and while it cost a lot getting Sweat was good and extending him was good. Recent draft and the trade for the #1 pick was good. Set yourselves up well with a lot of flexibility.

Vikings managing a difficult cap situation but using assets well. Addison great #2 to JJ and Flores is looking like a slam dunk hire. Think if the rumors are true and you draft a QB should be well positioned to support him.

Lions found their identity and that certainly has translated to success this season. I like that y’all are willing to swing for the fences and be ultra aggressive.

Lions fan here.

Do the Chicago bears have a good defense? Who and why and how?

If not , in what way?

Thank you.

However you want to slice it, they’ve given up almost 25 points per game—5th most in the league. They’re dead last in Red Zone TD% at an eye-popping 75.3%. Since last year, they’ve allowed 35+ more often (10 games) than they’ve held their opponents to under 20 (7 games). The defense has not been good.

Whats the scoop with those expensive free agents you guys got? Are they starting to gel?

Should Luke Getsy face a firing squad for being a football terrorist?

Sort of /s.

Lions fans, your current roster is very strong. What is your contract situation like? How long can the front office keep this core group on the roster? Are there upcoming financial limitations that will send key players away?

Tyson Bagent looked surprisingly solid at first, and then as he continued to play it appeared as though Getsy opted more & more for screens. Watching his final game as a starter, it felt like he was throwing 90% screens. Then Fields comes back and it felt like every singe pass was behind the LoS.

Point being, Getsy called similarly for Fields/Bagent, and appeared to severely handicap each QBs upside opting for low-risk plays. My question is, does the ineptitude stem from the QBs or is it mainly Getsy?
