Yes. I know the 3rd Gen Apple TV MD199LL/A is old. I know it won't do YouTube nor can it be updated. Does anyone have a list of what it WILL do whether a TV is smart or not?

Can someone direct me to specific current resources with appropriate info please?

Can be an airplay target to allow you to cast from an iphone/ipad/mac else (depending on firmware installed) Blackb0x can possibly allow kodi to be sideloaded as a replacement interface to play media
