The very idea of "nothing to hide" is born from fear.

It's fundamentally a self-sabotaging philosophy. If I have nothing to hide, why do I need to be surveilled?

yeah kind of like how even on Reddit we have to think twice before saying what's REALLY on our minds

I got permabanned once for telling someone to crawl into a hole.

I got permabanned a second time and fully quit reddit after bringing up the double standards of infant genital mutilation practices.

Some more than others.

No, you don't get it. They never said that they've got nothing to hide. So the rule must be that if you've got nothing to hide, spying is okay. But if you have something to hide, it's not okay. That means that it's okay to spy on you, but not okay to spy on criminals. Huh. This rule seems rather useless.

"So in reversion of argument, since it's okay to spy on you because you have nothing to hide, spying on criminals is not ok, because they do have something to hide?"

Cleaned it up. Thanks for the argument!

I have a lot to hide.

That is why I close the door when using a public rest room, otherwise people see my tiny penis and I get jailed for being an exhibitionist.

[–] intensely_human@lemm.ee 15 points 2 years ago

I’ve reported you for verbal exhibitionism

You know, that guy made it to the opsec briefs now. They didn't go into why he posted them online though.

The whole classification system needs reworking

yeah but it's the amount that matters:

even if I have a few molecules from einstein's brain in me, that does not make me a genius
