Put them in a box, and plan a time where you can deal with it, piece by piece. You can't solve it all in a day, and you can't throw the box away. It'll always be there, clogging up space, so you would want to deal with it. It would be good to get outside help from someone who can meaningfully help, as only certain people are capable of making your job easier. However, you don't need to solve all of it if you make it manageable enough.
Almost everyone can sort their lights, and once you do, you can use it to decorate your life.
I still haven't untangled them all :(
