The word “wasted” is tossed around constantly nowadays. If a player doesn’t win a Super Bowl, his career is “wasted”. If a player has a great season but his team sucks that year, he’s being “wasted”. You play to win a Super Bowl, yes, but there’s so many levels between Super Bowl champs and Hue Jackson 0-16 Browns.

Yes, I’ve quite enjoyed winning three consecutive division titles with a couple of 13-3 seasons. The end result of sitting at home during the Super Bowl has been the same but September through December has been so much better with Josh Allen than it was before him lol.
Yeah winning a Super Bowl is hard. It’s “any given Sunday” even when it’s a lopsided matchup. Then you get to the playoffs and really anything can happen. Eagles had a super team last year and couldn’t win it
I mean, you don’t give employee of the month to the guy that fixes all the problems he creates. Allen’s not having an MVP season but the Bills are still lucky to have him.
I was at the game on Sunday and he was the best player on the field. It was amazing too watch. Great game.
Josh Allen and the Bills remind of me Carson Wentz's time in Philly.
"an mvp level season" is a stretch.
how many mvp's have 13 ints through 12 games (alongside 4 fumbles).
it's more like a "hall of very good" candidate of a season.
We'll swap you him for Bryce. Then you'll see what wasting a talent truly looks like...
Fuck Josh Allen lol he’s a runner not a QB
If this is a MVP season by Allen then Dak is the greatest QB of all time
LOL, Josh Allen is directly responsible for at least a few of their losses.
In all honestly, MVP is up in the air this year.
Imo there are 3 true candidates in no particular order:
Russel Wilson: Dude putting up Aaron Rodgers level efficiency numbers and has led his team to rattle off 5 consecutive wins, as one of the best teams in the NFL.
Jalen Hurts: putting up huge numbers in the air and on the ground, nit as efficient as Wilson but volume is nutty.
DaRon Bland: 7 Ints, 5 returned for TDs. So many games to go. Historic numbers.
Objectively, Bland is the MVP this season, but realistically it will be one of the QBs. (Probably Hurts because of media love)
If Wilson is an MVP candidate Stroud sure as hell ought to be
The way they stroke this dude is unbelievable. He was the one blowing a lot of those games with the turnovers, now its his time is being wasted? Stop it.
That’s life isn’t it?
Nobody wants to say it because its an unsatisfying answer for which there isn't really an obvious solution, but a large part of why the Bills are struggling this year is legitimately just shit-awful luck. I mean, they have the fourth best point differential in the league, better than the 10-1 Eagles. Sometimes the universe just isn't smiling upon you.
Wait. People think Allen is having an MVP-level season? Wut?
Hahahahahaha
He's averaging 267 yds, 2:1 TD:INT ratio, 28 yds rushing, .75 rushing TDs.
CJ Stroud is averaging 296 yds, 4:1 TD:INT ratio, 12 yds rushing, .27 rushing TDs
Sorry but give me Stroud not turning the ball over every single game and costing me wins as MVP over this dude.
Weren’t we all just ripping Allen for his turnovers but now it’s the Bills wasting his MVP season?
Oooorrrr maybe winning in the league every year is hard, the Bills have a good roster, and they’re just having a down year?
Not saying he’s got to be perfect but he’s tied with Howell for most INT this year at 13. The games they’ve lost have been one score games where he’s thrown picks in all of them and his fumbles also have happened in these losses. Turnovers kill teams, that’s just basic knowledge and his turnovers not just this year but over the last few years have been costing them. Seems like he’s been wasting his own MVP year not the team.
