It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Unsurprisingly, this extends to Star Trek now, too. I recently finished slogging through ST: Discovery and I made the mistake of looking at IMDB episode comments. Some of the saltiest crackers I have ever seen, all frothing in unison about "woke garbage." I will never understand CHUD Trekkies.

Like, there are very valid criticisms to be made about the show, its writing, some of the dubious production decisions (warf-wtf redesign, my-hero worship), and so forth, but rather than engage with any of that, they jump right to "there are feeeeeeemales on the screen that don't make my pp hard." All I fucking wanted in this world was confirmation that someone else watched that season 4 finale episode, saw who was playing the President of United Earth, and laughed their ass off.

I wish everyone a very please gatekeep your hobbies to keep them normie-proof. Furries have the right idea on embracing being "cringe" and CHUD furries are a small, small minority in the fandom as a result.
