Both teams should apologize to America.
Chicago Bears
I think I speak for all Chicago fans when I say Eberflus has earned himself another season
I can’t wait for the Hoge and Jahns voicemails.
The fields stand are a loud minority right? Coming here makes me feel crazy.
Thank god Vikings forgot that they just need to blitz our QB in the last drive
watching Caleb and Mayes games, I don't see Generational talent.
I think we role with Fields and trade back, get some pieces and more 1st round picks for the latter year and if Fields isn't the answer, we get the best prospect for '25.
If you’re gonna hang Detroit on his head because of the last drive, keep the same energy.
This game was really boring. Justin Fields is bad. Winning is good.
That was just exhausting.
RIP MHJ to Bears
Only thing accomplished is worsening our own draft pick. I am more resolute than ever that GM, Head Coach, and QB must be gone at seasons end.
Fun Fact: The best QB the bears have beaten in two years…is Sam Howell.
I’m wearing my Chicago Bears ugly Christmas sweater to work tomorrow in celebration.
WOOOOO
We won, but this is the most down I've been on Fields all year. It's complicated.
Say what you will about Justin Fields, but that was a clutch throw to set up the game-winning field goal.
Swear to god if I see one post about how Fields proved he’s got the clutch gene this week I’m gonna lose it
A win’s a win. Vikings have been a decent team and we haven’t been.
Fields looked good enough to stay another year while we acquire more pieces. That was a big throw at the end, and he was playing in the pocket which isn’t natural for him. But he did it. The fumble? That needs to be worked on too.
Defense is looking better. Still, I can’t help but think we’d have 4-5 more wins with better coaching. They need to go.
that’s a huge pile of shit

If we include the Fields scrambles, this coaching staff just called 45 pass plays in a 12-10 game where Roshon was averaging a healthy amount of yards per carry
Around 15-20 screen passes?
This play calling is fricking illegal. Idc who is QB, dont let this coaching staff anywhere near this team next year
Luke Gutless kept calling the same dumb ass short passes behind the line of scrimmage that were getting blown up. The defense got 4 turnovers and the offense still couldn’t score a damn touchdown.
Justin Fields-goal
That was a brutal game to watch for the offense, basically nothing but screens all game. At least the defense is finally living up to the expectations and Fields got a game winning drive.
Now that the Lions are coming back to Earth, rest of the schedule is winnable. Just have to win out and we are the wild card baby. I see the path.
Bear down Chicago bears!
Honestly just happy Fields fought the demons and finally threw a clutch throw to his best receiver to win a game after so many disappointments
I feel that JF would be so much better if he had an Oline that could block a blitz
Matt Eberflus is going to be a GREAT defensive coordinator for somebody next year.
On a positive note the defense looks legit and we didn’t hurt our draft position.
I need a brave soul at the press conference to ask "despite your terrible coaching how do you feel about the win?"
I'm just happy we won. I'm tired of losing. Let us enjoy it
Did we just win the worst football game ever? Yes.
But at least we won it.
We aren’t thrilled with this W to say the least, so imagine how the Vikings coach and dobbs feel about the L
For some reason dobbs and Kevin O’Connell celebrating the TD came off as smug to me so I was glad to win. Maybe being a bears fan has just left me bitter idk
Anyone cop any good Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals?
I bet the screen pass works like a fucking charm. In practice. With no defense.
WE DID IT WE FUCKING WON AGAINST A DIVISION OPPONENT I COULD HUG YALL RN
Throwing 25 screens a game is never going to be the answer offensively no matter who the QB is.
Dial it up Getsy. If Fields throws 4 picks a game like Dobbs so be it, but no contender is ever going to average .8 yards per throw
I’m gonna say it: In 3 years I don’t think we’ve seen enough success from Justin to justify passing on a QB this year. Not to say he’s been ass, but considering we might fire our coaching staff, we could have a chance to marry coach+QB that they pick. It would be a disservice to Justin because he can probably find success somewhere else vs staying and being the scapegoat for a new coaching staff for why they don’t find immediate success(if that scenario actually plays out)
I'm happy they won. I'm not happy with getsy
Sitting at a bar in MPLS right now and I can't even find a way to talk a little bit of shit. Everyone's just glad we didn't spend $80/tix to go to the game.
The Bears technically won, but it feels like everyone lost.
Terrell Smith > Tyrique Stevenson and I like Tyrique, but he has been abused this season and Smith balled out tonight.
Good ugly game nfc north bros , saw game live, fields is a shifty qb, build around him
"This game is over...Thankfully."
Best line of the night.
I noticed for whatever reason the Bears just absolutely cannot win on a Sunday. Monday and Thursday however? That's a borderline guaranteed dub. I don't get it.
We play conservative all game. We threw like 30 screens. Most of the downfield throws came at the end of the game when we were down. If we continue to play like that then that also puts a lot of pressure on your QB to not make any mistakes.
Yes he has a fumbling problem, really only in the pocket but he tried to take off and run and play aggressive there it was just a good play on the defender. Fields ability to scramble and run is literally his best weapon let’s not scrutinize him for trying to play aggressive. If he threw 4 picks then that’s a different story
Fields fumbling is a big problem. That has and will continue to kill us if he can't reign it in. The low pass yardage however isn't a worry. When you have an OC who refuses to run any mid to long range plays and calls a damn WR screen 10 times a game it's hard to get any numbers.
Not only are people rooting against Fields, but they're angry when the Bears win as well. Why are these assholes even here if they're flat out opposed to any form of success?
Hope everyone is ready for everyone to be back next year. Think they'll make a change at OC but we're about to see the worst case scenario come into place where no major changes are made.
The only people who aren’t happy about this W is the ones who want fields to fail, you can all suck an egg
What makes this so infuriating is that, can we sit here and honestly think Justin is being put in the best situation possible for him to play his best ball and be adequately assessed?
