If this is the offense the Bears want to run, why even bother worrying about a QB? Davis Mills can run this shit.

Getsy eats peanut butter & jelly sandwiches with a knife & fork.

I just hope to see no more screen passes from the Bears this season.

Justin Fields has now won as many starts this year as Tyson Bagent.

How did we look last night?

I wasn’t able to watch due to time difference and I’m seeing a mixture of rumblings on social media. I’ve got the game recorded so I’ll try and catch a bit later too!

Ill take a Bears win over anything but sometimes people tend to overreact on social media

Not to defend Getsy, because he sucks at his job, but I'm guessing he's calling all those screens because Fields just cannot find the open man in passing plays down the field. Fields was running around a lot of times last night for like 6-8 seconds, and I'm thinking, there has to be someone getting open! Fields is just incapable of pulling the trigger, either because he just can't see a receiver, or he just doesn't have a good feel for what's going on in a spatial sense downfield. I started watching for open receivers and sure enough, was able to start picking them out in lots of cases. Fields really hasn't improved much in that area and I'm beginning to think he never will. I do think you can still win with him, but the team really needs to run the offense and build the team around Fields strengths (which are many). I don't think you're ever going to see the guy operating an offense efficiently from the pocket. Can the Bears roll with Fields and be successful. Maybe. But I'm looking at his performance last night and thinking there's no way Poles passes on a QB with that first pick. I was a big Fields fan and that revelation has me kind of depressed.
