What would cause someone’s contact and photo to appear at the top of my Home Screen? (alien.top)

My wife and I were watching a movie and when we finished I grabbed my iPhone. When I unlocked it, it said “connected to (contact name and photo)” I’ve never seen this before. What would cause this

For privacy reasons , you can turn it off. :)
