The lack of discipline on this Chicago team reminds me of the Trestman era.
RB draw. QB draw. Quick slant. Go route. Hell even a traditional screen to an RB. I understand scheming differently for a 50% blitz rate but there ARE MORE OPTIONS THAN BUBBLE SCREENS.

My biggest issue isn’t even just Getsy. It’s that this is now our 4th coaching regime that simply wants to throw screen passes. Trestman loved them, Fox pushed for an offense that ran 30+ times and screened when they didn’t, Nagy loved screens, and now Getsy.
At some point can we find a coaching group that believes in throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage. And even more important, past the 1st down marker when you’re on 3rd or 4th down.
