IF Eberflus can run a defense like this for 4 quarters consistently, keep his hands off the offense and let the OC cook, and situationally coach better, then he could actually maybe be a good defensive HC.
If Eberflus can call a defense like this, somebody should make him a DC if we fire him, because since we got Sweat the defense has been good outside of those prevent defenses he runs protecting leads.

Eberflus clearly either needs to be a DC or a defense calling HC, because bro is garbage at everything besides calling a defense. He's complete garbage as a leader HC with a DC calling the defense.

Come on everyone. This is who Dobbs is. He's been on 7 teams in 6 years. He's smart as eff but he's a 3rd string backup. He's still more talented than Derek Carr.
Dobbs has only been with the team a few weeks. He's not a miracle worker. He's still the best option (for this year) and will only get better.
Not to mention the Vikings could still easily win this one.

Dumping Justin Fields to take crappy Caleb Williams in the draft would just be a Browns-style QB turnstile. You've got to build a team for a QB to thrive in. Not keep using your top picks on QBs who won't pan out. I would think the Bears would have learned this already.
