Serious question: has the quality of defensive lineman and linebacker just badly outpaced the quality of offensive lineman over the past several seasons, or do the better athletes just want to play defense for the glory and potential pay? It sure feels like very few quarterbacks these days get any consistent protection anymore, but maybe that's just recency bias...
